OUR C
Zachary D. Dinwiddie Educational Trust

Robert E. Dinwiddie Jr.The Zachary D. Dinwiddie Educational Trust was established by the Founding Members of Esoterika Lodge to help offset the costs of post secondary educational expenses for Zachary D. Dinwiddie,  the only child of our esteemed and departed Brother Robert E. Dinwiddie Jr. Bro. Dinwiddie passed away very unexpectedly November 28th, 2005, at the age of 37.

Bro. Dinwiddie was instrumental in developing and realizing the dream of bringing Esoterika Lodge to life. Robert was a truly extraordinary Mason, having been a member of the Craft for just 13 months. Robert was initiated as an Entered Apprentice Mason in Robert Burns Lodge No. 243, on October 24th 2004. Robert became a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason in the Valley of Everett May 13th 2005, and quickly became a very active member of the Valley, and an example of Masonic participation. Robert's primary focus in Scottish Rite was his dedicated and tireless effort to bring to life the Everett Chapter of the Knights of Saint Andrew, and September 16th 2005 saw the Consecration and Constitution of the Everett Chapter and Robert installed as the Founding Prior.

Robert was a true friend and brother; he inspired all of us with his ceaseless energy and unique perspective, encouraging all of us to do our best, and to live our lives as if each day were the last one we may ever have.

Robert graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in history, and it was his wish to see his only son Zachary receive his post-secondary education at the University of Washington as well. Regardless of where Zachary may pursue his education, it is our privilege to support him in his educational endeavors, to help him reach for his highest ambitions, to someday do work that matters and to touch the lives of others in our community, as his father would have done no less for any of our sons or daughters.
